The GWCC General gaming permit can be used by your non-profit group for raffles or split-pots (not for personal use, derbies, or dog mushing), pursuant to the following requirements:

  1. A letter of intent of use must be submitted to the Chamber Board for approval prior to use.
  2. Funds raised from use of the permit must be for a non-profit organization.
  3. The GWCC must approve design of any raffle ticket to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
  4. An administrative fee of 15% of the proceeds will be charged by GWCC for permit usage.
  5. All funds collected must be turned in to the GWCC office within 24 hours of event completion for verification.
  6. Once verification is completed a check will be issued to your organization, less the 15% administrative fee to cover costs, unless otherwise approved by documented motion of the Board of Directors.
  7. Your usage of the permit must comply with Alaska State Statutes Sec. 05.15.150: Limitation on use of proceeds and Alaska State Statutes Sec. 05.13.400.
  8. All rules and policies pertaining to GWCC gaming permit use by qualified members may change, without notice, at the Board's discretion.
