GWCC Gaming Permit
The GWCC General gaming permit
can be used by your non-profit group for raffles or
split-pots (not for personal use, derbies, or dog mushing), pursuant to
the following requirements:
- A letter of
intent of use must be submitted to the Chamber Board
for approval prior to use.
- Funds raised from use of the permit must be for a
non-profit organization.
- The GWCC must approve design of any raffle ticket to
ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
- An administrative fee of 15% of the proceeds will be
charged by GWCC for permit usage.
- All funds collected must be turned in to the GWCC
office within 24 hours of event completion for
verification.
- Once verification is completed a check will be
issued to your organization, less the 15% administrative
fee to cover costs, unless otherwise approved by
documented motion of the Board of Directors.
- Your usage of the permit must comply with Alaska
State Statutes Sec. 05.15.150: Limitation on use of
proceeds and Alaska State Statutes Sec. 05.13.400.
- All rules and policies pertaining to GWCC gaming
permit use by qualified members may change, without
notice, at the Board's discretion.
