We encourage our members to think of the Wasilla Chamber & CVB as your tool belt for business. We encourage you to use the services we offer, participate in our events and volunteer to connect your name and face with your business in the community with other successful business leaders.

The Wasilla Chamber of Commerce is recognized as the leader in the Valley for the quality and quantity of our networking events. Our members are known for their friendly and welcoming attitudes; and for their eagerness to do business with other Chamber or CVB members.

What do we expect from our members?

There is no mandatory attendance or any other contributions required beyond your annual membership renewal. We hope that you take advantage of as many benefits as possible. Call the Membership Director at any time for a refresher on benefits, networking, and events. Attend the Chamber and CVB Member Orientation program to familiarize your self with our benefits you can make the most of this year.

Businesses that join Chambers of Commerce boost their image with consumers and other businesses. A study conducted by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, (www.acce.org) in August of 2007 found that:

• Respondents were 44% more likely to rate a chamber member favorable.
• Respondents were 63% more likely to want to purchase from a small business who is a chamber member.
• Consumers were 40% more likely to eat at a large franchise location when they believed the restaurant chain was a member of the local chamber of commerce.
